The movie “True Grit” debuted in July 1969 starring John Wayne as whiskey-drinking, eye-patch wearing “Rooster” Cogburn recruited by a feisty teenager to find her father’s killer. Glen Campbell co-stars as Le Beouf as the three head deep into Indian territory to find the fugitive.
