Tournament officials have announced a five-year partnership with Circle K as the presenting sponsor of this fall’s inaugural Constellation Furyk & Friends, set for Oct. 4-10 at Timuquana Country Club.

As presenting sponsor of the annual PGA Tour Champions event hosted by Jim and Tabitha Furyk, Circle K brings its in-store experience to the golf course along with fan enhancements, on- and off-site promotional activations and dedicated charitable efforts benefitting local military organizations.

“We are tremendously proud to establish this partnership with Constellation Furyk & Friends,” said Tom Harman, Circle K South Atlantic vice president. “We look forward to the inaugural event, rooted in the ideals of great generosity, sportsmanship and giving back to the community. We are very excited about the event’s future with Circle K as presenting sponsor. This new partnership enables us to raise awareness and create a memorable event providing a family-friendly atmosphere that will keep people coming back year after year, while developing our brand in the Jacksonville market.”

Tournament officials also announced a new fun and interactive venue, the Circle K ParTee Porch. Open to all ticket holders, the venue will offer views of multiple holes, including the green at the par-4 11th hole, the par-4 12th tee and the par-3 7th hole. The Circle K ParTee Porch will also include birdie beer specials each day of competition for birdies made on No. 7, a putting green, and many other food and drink specials.

“We are thrilled to welcome Circle K into our Constellation Furyk & Friends family and look forward to the fun and unique activations it will bring to this brand-new event,” said foundation President Tabitha Furyk. “It was very apparent early on that Circle K would be a perfect fit given our aligned focus on creating world-class experiences and making an impact in the Jacksonville community.”

A resident of Northeast Florida for more than two decades, Jim Furyk, together with his wife, Tabitha, launched their foundation in 2010 to bring awareness and funding to charities throughout the region.

In September 2020, Jim Furyk joined Arnold Palmer and Bruce Fleisher as the only players to win their first two starts on PGA Tour Champions.

In addition to his 17 career PGA Tour titles, Furyk represented the United States on seven Presidents Cup teams and nine Ryder Cup teams, highlighted by his 2018 captaincy in Paris. The former University of Arizona golfer, who notched a major championship title at the 2003 U.S. Open, became the first player in PGA Tour history to post 58 when he did so in the final round of the 2016 Travelers Championship. To date, he is the only player in history with two sub-60 rounds in PGA Tour-sanctioned events. (The other was 59, at the 2013 BMW Championship.)

Timuquana Country Club is a 1923 Donald Ross design and has hosted a number of national, state and local tournaments, including the 2002 United States Senior Amateur Championship. The renowned course, which sits on the banks of the St. Johns River, was the home club for 13-time PGA Tour winner David Duval.
