The following programs will be held at COA Center at Flagler Health+ Village at Nocatee, at 351 Town Plaza Ave., Suite 205, Ponte Vedra. Registration is required, and space is limited. TUESDAYS

Grief Support Group: 9:30-10:30 a.m. Jan. 3. This group is for anyone dealing with grief from any kind of loss and offers support and validation by being with people who have experienced loss.

23 Healthy Habits for 2023: 11 a.m. to noon Jan. 3. Carla Defuria, registered dietitian and health coach at Flagler Health+ Village at Nocatee, will speak on getting healthy in the New Year.

Caregiver Support Group: 1-2 p.m. every Tuesday. All caregivers are welcome. There is a trained facilitator present at every meeting to guide the group.

Herbology: 3-4 p.m. every Tuesday in January. Discussion this month will be on the history of herbalism and how to use herbs for health and wellness. This hands-on course is taught by James Carucci. Morning Stretch with Alison: 10-11 a.m. Jan. 10 and 17. These free classes are suitable for all fitness and ability levels. Join leader Alison Vitti as participants stretch, feel better and relax.

Widows and Widowers: 11-12:30 p.m. Social group meeting the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. Register in advance for one or both Tuesdays.

Aid & Attendance VA Benefit with NAVF: 11 a.m. to noon Jan. 17. If you are a veteran or spouse of a veteran, do not wait until you may need benefits. Find out what you need to know now. Family members are invited to attend.

Beginning Mah-jongg Class: 10 a.m. to noon Tuesdays, Jan. 24-Feb. 21. These classes are appropriate for beginners and those who need to review and sharpen their skills. Deb Schwartz will lead you step-by-step on how to play American mah-jongg in five easy lessons for just $25.

Open Art: 9:30-11:30 a.m. every Wednesday. Bring your art or craft project to work on while socializing with friends.

How to Improve Strength & Resiliency as We Age: 10-11 a.m. Jan. 4. Local doctor of physical therapy Dr. Michael Derry will speak on adding capability and function to add strong years to our lives.

Tai Chi: 1:30 p.m. for four weeks starting Jan. 4. Improve mood, increase energy and stamina, improve flexibility, balance and muscle strength with instructor Dennis Sheils. Class may be done standing or seated. Cost is $25. To register, go to coasjc.coursestorm.com/category/coa-center-at-nocatee.

Parkinson’s Meet, Greet & Learn: 3-4:30 p.m. Jan. 4. A special meeting for people living with Parkinson’s disease and their loved ones. Guest speaker will be speech pathologist Emily Herndon.

Mah-jongg Meet-up: 1-3 p.m. Jan. 4, 11, 25; 3-5 p.m. Jan. 18. Open play for experienced players.

Genealogy Group: 1-2:30 p.m. Jan. 18. A genealogy expert will guide you in discovering your roots on the third Wednesday of each month.
