Coastal Wine Market & Tasting Room (soon to be Coastal Wine & Tapas) has announced that after eight wonderful years, they are rebranding and relocating to a new expanded space in Nocatee Town Center. Local residents Steve and Shaun Lourie are eager to share their elevated vision, which includes a waterfront patio, private dining room and state-of-the-art kitchen, mirroring the same friendly atmosphere that has kept their loyal guests returning to their current location for years.
“This is the holy grail for us as small business owners,” said co-owner Steve Lourie. “We get to continue growing in our hometown of Nocatee and create a footprint that our guests will enjoy for years to come.”
“We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support of our incredible team members and loyal community, who are the heart of our success and the driving force behind our growth,” added co-owner Shaun Lourie. “We’re elevating everything — from the ambiance to the seating and even our name. We are excited to bring this vision to life and can’t wait for the community to see what we’ve been working on.”
Coastal Wine & Tapas isn’t moving that far; the new location will soon occupy the space adjacent to The Chophouse at Nocatee.
Coastal Wine & Tapas, which originally opened as a retail concept, has continued to develop and evolve alongside the Nocatee community. It is the go-to place for adults who seek a little conversation, relaxation and connection in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The wine bar and eatery offers house-made and chef-curated tapas, boutique wine offerings, unique craft beer selections, top-notch table service and weekly drink and food specials. Menu staples like their coastal Angus sliders, coconut shrimp, flatbreads, goat cheese and fig jam and award-winning charcuterie boards have kept guests enjoying and returning for years. Along with an extensive wine-by-the-glass and bottle menu, Coastal Wine & Tapas offers specialty wine flights, remarkable winemaker events and noteworthy wine tastings.
“We are thrilled to have Coastal Wine & Tapas anchor what will soon be a destination dining pocket for all of Ponte Vedra,” said Riley Skinner, vice president of Skinner Bros. Realty. “We have worked with owners Steve and Shaun Lourie since they opened their doors in 2016, and it has been a joy to watch them grow into a beloved Nocatee favorite. We look forward to many more years to come providing Nocatee residents a first-class dining experience.”
Coastal Wine & Tapas plans to open in early summer 2025. In the meantime, guests can visit the current Nocatee location to get a feel of what’s to come.
