The third in a series of fundraising concerts, Concerts for a Cause raised $73,179 for St. Augustine Youth Services (SAYS), a local nonprofit that shapes the future of Florida’s at-risk youth by providing coaching, counseling and care in family-style therapeutic group homes and outpatient community services.

The sold-out event at Tringali Barn at Heritage Farms welcomed American country music singer Easton Corbin with special guest Crawford & Power on Saturday, Dec. 11.

“Our first Concerts for a Cause back in March raised $34,000 for Investing in Kids (INK!), and our second concert in May brought in $72,000 for Alpha-Omega Miracle Home,” said Chris Shee, owner of Tringali Barn at Heritage Farms and founder and CEO of MasterCraft Builder Group. “With the support of our community and the generosity of our sponsors, we’re thrilled to have hosted another sold-out show and break our fundraising record for SAYS.”

The next Concerts for a Cause event will be held on April 9 and will feature The Marshall Tucker Band, an iconic American rock band from South Carolina that will be celebrating its 50th anniversary next year.

Shee plans to hold Concerts for a Cause concerts three or four times per year with each event benefitting a different local nonprofit organization.

“We are continuously humbled by Chris Shee,” said Alex Mason, director of fundraising and marketing for SAYS. “His kindness and generosity are unmatched. Thanks to Chris, we are able to continue to raise funds for our Independent Living Village, which in turn builds hope for our youth that are transitioning out of foster care. Our Independent Living Village will provide affordable housing and resources to youth transitioning into adulthood. Thanks to Chris Shee, Clays for a Cause and Concerts for a Cause, we are one step closer to setting our transitioned youth up for success by providing them a home and mental health support.”
