Congressman Rutherford sworn in for second term

On Jan. 3, Congressman John Rutherford was sworn in for a second term in Florida’s 4th Congressional District.

Rutherford’s grandson, John Carlo, joined him on the floor to witness the ceremony. Minority Leader Congressman Kevin McCarthy held a reception in the Library of Congress following the ceremony. The Rutherfords were joined by their son, Michael, and daughter-in-law, Francesca, and daughter, Alicia Halford, as well as their grandchildren from Jacksonville.

The day before on Jan. 2, Congressman Rutherford and Rep. Alex Mooney gave a tour of the Capitol for all the guests of newly elected Congressman Michael Waltz, who represents Florida’s 7th Congressional District.
