Cypress Village recently hosted a grand opening for the community’s newly updated restaurant and bar space.
Residents and guests enjoyed sampling featured menu items from the Loon’s Nest Bar & Grill as well as the Sandpiper Café, which reopened after a period of renovations. Among the menu items featured at the grand reopening were ribeye steak, bronzed scallops, a new Quinoa Power Bowl and numerous appetizers.
The renovations consisted of enlarging and updating the restaurant and bar along with opening up the main event hall to be included in one space. The improvements will allow residents to dine in an updated open concept space overlooking the water. Improvements were also made to the kitchen.
“The new kitchen space will definitely allow us to cook dishes we could never have dreamed of before,” said Thomas Rivers, director of dining services. “I am very excited for the opportunity to provide something that the residents have been waiting a long time for.”
