EMMA holiday pops concert is Dec. 14

EMMA Concert Association will present the annual holiday pops concert with The Gainesville Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 14 in Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College, 14 Granada St., downtown St. Augustine. Tickets are available at emmaconcerts.com.

The Gainesville Orchestra, celebrating 40 years as one of the region’s leading orchestras, will brighten the holiday season with orchestral fireworks, spread good cheer with special guest artists and warm hearts with Maestro Evans Haile at the piano in some romantic keyboard favorites.

In addition to holiday favorites, the orchestra will perform music from “Beauty and the Beast,” “Sleeping Beauty,” Johann Strauss, George Gershwin and more.

Tickets include free parking at the St. Johns County Council on Aging, with a complimentary shuttle to and from the venue during Nights of Lights.
