St. Johns County Council on Aging (COA) is participating in the 2023 Subaru Share the Love Event. Subaru will donate $250 for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased through Jan. 2 to four national charities designated by the purchaser or lessee, one of which is Meals on Wheels.

“This annual event allows us to help more homebound elders receive the Meals on Wheels they need,” said COA Executive Director Becky Yanni. “We are excited to get the word out to members of our community about this opportunity to help local seniors in a meaningful way.”

Through the Subaru Share the Love Event beginning in 2008, Subaru and its retailers have helped the Meals on Wheels network provide more than 4.3 million meals and friendly visits to seniors in need.  For more information, go to mealsonwheelsamerica.org/sharethelove.
Council on Aging is partnering once again with local Subaru dealer, Subaru of Jacksonville, in spreading the word about the program. Subaru of Jacksonville is located at 10800 Atlantic Blvd. To contact them, call 904-544-6516 or go to subaruofjacksonville.com.
