The Women’s Board of Wolfson Children’s Hospital recently announced that the volunteer organization raised $927,922 from its signature fundraising events, the 2023 First Coast Design Show and the 2023-24 Florida Forum, to benefit Wolfson Children’s Hospital.

“I am grateful for the leadership of the 2023 Design Show co-chairs, Emily Magevney and Gracie Register, and 2023-24 Florida Forum co-chairs, Meg Folds, Drew Haramis, Robin Love and the contributions from all of the members, volunteers and donors who made this past year a tremendous success,” said Kendra McCrary, president of The Women’s Board. “Proceeds from the Design Show and the Florida Forum support our mission to raise awareness and funding for Wolfson Children’s Hospital and ensure the advancement of life-saving medical care for all children.”

The Women’s Board of Wolfson Children’s Hospital is committed to raising $1.5 million for two new Kids Kare Mobile Intensive Care Units (ICUs) and other Wolfson Children’s Hospital programs this year.

The Kids Kare Mobile ICUs are part of Wolfson Children’s Hospital’s Neonatal and Pediatric Critical Care Transport fleet and include necessary life-support equipment for the transportation of critically ill and injured infants and children. Kids Kare vehicles and helicopters safely transport nearly 3,000 infants and children a year to Wolfson Children’s Hospital for emergency critical care, trauma and specialty care.

The Women’s Board is the largest volunteer-driven, community-supported source of philanthropy for Wolfson Children’s Hospital, supporting its mission to ensure the best available pediatric health care for all children.
