Fashion, food and film come together for a weekend of creative expression and innovation at the inaugural Jax Fuse Festival. Northeast Florida’s local designers, filmmakers and culinary professionals will share their unique arts at events designed to connect and inspire. The Jax Fuse Festival is Sept. 13 and 14 at the link, 425 Town Plaza Ave., Ponte Vedra Beach.
“The link has organized events that have fueled the entrepreneurial ecosystem,” said Gurpreet Misra, co-founder of the link. “Jax Fuse is a festival that highlights the vision and creative work of designers, culinary artists and filmmakers and creates a springboard for models. Overall, festivals are all about bringing people together and making memories. Jax Fuse sets out to do just that, packed with vibrant colors, delicious flavors and loads of creativity. We're excited to showcase local talent and spread some joy in the community.”
Jax Fuse Festival begins with Fashion + Food Day on Friday, Sept. 13, with a delicious “Taste Of” experience featuring sweet-and-savory bites from Chef Corina Danielson with Healthy Hands Cooking, Tanks Sushi Bistro, Treylor Park, Timoti’s Seafood Shak, Orange Blossom Catering, DNP Cupcakes, Nothing Bundt Cakes and Miss Kara Anderson.
It’s a delicious prelude to fashion shows featuring emerging and established designers, including Ramsey Salter, Fleur de Lis Boutique, Lady Strut Gowns, Nena Cavalieri, Bollywood Dance Mania and Shway-Highlight.
Saturday, Sept. 14, is a full day of film. Attendees can enjoy screenings from many genres, participate in hands-on workshops and network with industry professionals.
“It's inspiring to see more creative spaces emerging in our community,” said Nena Von Sternberg, founder and CEO of Nena Cavalieri. “I'm thrilled to be part of the fashion segment, which is expertly organized and supported by leaders in the field. The innovative blend of disciplines at Jax Fuse, held at the link, sets a new standard for our city’s creative future.
