Former PVHS student Stephanie M. Stroupe becomes U.S Air Force Airman 1st Class

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Stephanie M. Stroupe graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills. 

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Stroupe is the daughter of Randy and Kelly Stroupe of Ponte Vedra Beach and granddaughter of Dan and Marie Callahan of Canton, North Carolina. 

A 2015 graduate of Ponte Vedra High School in Ponte Vedra, Stroupe earned a bachelor's degree in 2018 from University of Central Florida in Orlando.
