Girl Scouts of Gateway Council aims to provide cookies to health care heroes

Posted

The Girl Scouts of Gateway Council is giving thanks to emergency and health care workers by donating boxes of its famed Girl Scout cookies.

Aiming to provide some comfort and normalcy during this difficult time, Girl Scouts of Gateway Council has committed to donating at least 20,000 boxes of cookies to workers in those fields.

The Girls Scouts of Gateway Council is asking organizations, companies and donors to buy cookies in bulk (at cost) to gift Girl Scout Cookies to local hospital staff, first responders and pharmacy staff. The organization will also match all donations given on top of the 20,000 of boxes already committed.

Donors can also designate the facility where they want the donated cookies to go, and personalize their support for a spouse, friend or family member working to promote health and keep the community safe. Donors will also be recognized on the Gateway Council website, in emails and in publicity materials, and 100% of donations go to providing cookies to these workers.
