Hilton Garden Inn, Mulligans Pub support local frontline medical team

Hilton Garden Inn Ponte Vedra Beach is strongly committed to their community, especially now, during the COVID-19 crisis.

The staff of Hilton and their restaurant, Mulligans Pub, coordinated with Mayo Clinic Nursing Manager, Amy Gregory, recently to donate 60 hot meals to the PCU, AIC, VAT, HEM, ONC and BMT Mayo teams. Hilton Garden Inn welcomes hundreds of Mayo Clinic patients throughout the year so giving back to this nearby, world-renowned facility and their staff was a natural fit.

Searching for additional ways to offer local support and encouragement, the Hilton Director of Sales and Marketing, Anna Washington, reached out to PGA TOUR’s Community Impact team who connected her with THE PLAYERS Community Outreach team.

From there both organizations united to thank the medical professionals of Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside campus on the morning of April 29 with hot breakfast wraps and assorted handcrafted sandwiches provided by Hilton and Mulligans as the hospital staff were headed home from a 12-hour overnight shift.

With the additional support of Ascension St. Vincent’s Foundation, more than 500 on-campus team members were fed that morning. THE PLAYERS’ Red Coats Volunteer Leadership Team joined the spirited rally at Ascension St. Vincent's as all expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the frontline medical workers battling the COVID-19 pandemic.
