It’s the season of giving and Jacksonville Jaguar Defensive End Yannick Ngakoue gave his time by stopping by Jacksonville’s USO Center Nov. 25 to distribute turkeys to 50 military families.

Ngakoue was joined by volunteers from the Jaguars Foundation and the Law Firm of Pajcic & Pajcic as he posed for photos with military families and friends while handing out their Thanksgiving turkeys.

“There are a lot of people who are not fortunate to have the means to provide certain meals for their families on holidays like this,” Ngakoue said at the USO Center. “I feel like it’s special to be able to help out people like that.”

Ngakoue was also honored to help those in the military and spoke about how his mother works with military families at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Washington, D.C.

“My mom is a huge motivator in my life,” he said. “She’s a nurse and works with military families on a daily basis. That’s why the military has a special place in my heart.”
