Jacksonville Symphony to present Dvořák’s ‘New World’

Celebrate America’s diverse cultures in a captivating performance of Dvořák’s “New World Symphony.”

Pastoral themes of Copland’s “The Tender Land Suite” delve into the American heartland and Coleman’s “Seven O’Clock Shout” bridges classical and jazz traditions for a contemporary flair.

The concert is at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26.

The Jacksonville Symphony is located at 300 Water St., Jacksonville.

This is a Greta Challen Artist Series concert and part of the Florida Blue Classical Series.
