Jax Fuse spotlights fashion on the First Coast

Friends, fans and budding fashionistas gathered at the link in Nocatee on Saturday, Sept. 27, for the final 2025 Jax Fuse event: Jax Fuse Fashion Day.

Last year, the event showcased seven talented designers and more than 30 models on a runway filled with elegant ball gowns, bold cultural wear and powerful storytelling. This year, the event reached a whole new level.

The event was emceed by world-renowned eye surgeon Arun C. Gulani, M.D., M.S., and a large crowd gathered in the main event space to witness a live runway show with designs from some of North Florida’s most talented designers.

The Giving Closet Project showcased unique designs that demonstrated the importance of sustainable fashion for a good cause, while Uniquely Claudia captivated the audience with effortlessly chic, distinctive pieces that empower women to feel confident and beautiful.

Lady Strut Gowns elevated the runway with stunning evening wear that blended innovation with allure, and Clelia’s Party Dresses brought out the very best of couture gowns from around the world.

Gulani Fashions exhibited an innovative suit wear line crafted from unique fabrics and individualized designs, and Nena Cavalieri delivered timeless, effortlessly elegant designs, providing versatility for daily wear on any occasion.

Jax Fuse Fashion Day offered guests bumping beats from a live DJ in between runway shows, a cash bar and complimentary refreshments, along with plenty of opportunities for networking and an end-of-the-night VIP reception.

By hosting a citywide casting call for models ahead of the show, the event transformed into a true celebration of homegrown talent, woven through every aspect of the evening.
