Jody Boudreau, a club administrative assistant at TPC Sawgrass, has been named the 2021 recipient of the TPC Network’s annual A. James Clark Award.

In honor of A. James Clark, a longtime member of the PGA TOUR’s Golf Course Properties Advisory Board, this annual award is presented to an employee who upholds the values of the TPC Network and who exemplifies his same qualities, including commitment, strong work ethic and inspirational leadership.

Each TPC Network club submits one nominee for the award and a winner is selected by a committee. The network has more than 1,500 employees.

Since joining TPC Sawgrass in July 2019, Boudreau has made a positive impact in her regular work. However, it was her compassion, patience and guidance during the COVID-19 pandemic that earned her this recognition.

“In just a short amount of time, Jody has made an immediate impact in her role, elevating the standards of this position,” said Derek Sprague, general manager of TPC Sawgrass. “Working directly with department heads and managers of more than 300 employees daily, Jody is operating on a large scale but still manages to be incredibly personable.”

Growing up in Rochester, New York, Boudreau began her professional experience as an account manager at Tobin & Associates Inc. prior to moving to Charlotte, North Carolina, to work at Wikoff Color Corp. as a human resources coordinator.

She then relocated to Greensboro, North Carolina, where she held previous positions including employee relations administrator at Culp Inc. and payroll and benefits administrator at Precision Fabrics Group.

Throughout her experience, Boudreau discovered her natural passion for helping others, which led her to her current role at TPC Sawgrass. Living in St. Johns with husband Steve and son Troy, Boudreau enjoys being outdoors and can usually be found gardening, biking, walking and playing golf.

“I feel extremely honored to have received the A. James Clark Award, as there are many deserving and dedicated team members I interact with every day,” said Boudreau. “This is truly an amazing group of people. Everyone here makes my job enjoyable, and I feel in turn that allows me to excel in what I do.”
