Kate Amato Foundation to host charity wine dinner

To commence the season of giving, the Kate Amato Foundation has partnered with Aqua Grill to host a charity wine dinner at 6 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 24.

The dinner is part of the annual Kate Klassic Golf Tournament, honoring and celebrating the life of 11-year-old, Kate Amato, who died battling pediatric cancer.

The four-course dinner, collaborated between the foundation, Jordan Winery and Aqua Grill Executive Chef, Mike Thomashunis, will offer a variety of dishes from the sea, land and sky, using unique ingredients for a custom-twist and specifically-paired wines for each course.

Tickets are $250, which includes dinner, wine and gratuity. Proceeds from both the tournament and dinner will go to the Kate Amato Foundation, helping children and funding pediatric cancer research.

“I’d like to tell the Ponte Vedra Beach community that we are deeply grateful for their continued support and encouragement,” Lisa Amato, cofounder of the Kate Amato Foundation and Kate’s mother, said. “Kate’s legacy is being forged by the collective kindness and determination of our community to find cures for pediatric cancer.”
