Lesli “Mama” Kelly Huggett, 57, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on October 13, 2021. She was born in Jacksonville Beach, Florida on June 1, 1964, but Palm Valley was always her home.
Lesli was love and light and a mama to all who were blessed to meet her. She loved teaching her preschool babies at Cornerstone Christian Academy and Trinity Christian Academy. Her life’s calling though was mama. She created a warm and loving home and welcomed all who walked through her door. It was her joy to delight her children and her husband. The only thing that could exceed that joy was her grandbabies, all 14 of them! They were the light of her life and she made sure they knew it.
Lesli is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Greg; daughters, Daron (Kevin) Kopin and Chelsea (Jimmy) Crosby; sons, Jared (Dana) and Carter; grandbabies: Gabriel, Myla, Kozar, Khasta, Keda, Kwinn, Paisley, Finnley, Thatcher, Sawyer, Wilder, Colt, Oakleigh and Brooks; mother, Merline Mickler Jobes; brother, David Plummer; and sisters, Wanda Langford and Bethany Padgett. She will meet her daddy, Phil Padgett and her precious baby lost 39 years ago in heaven.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, October 22, 2021, at Christ’s Church Mandarin Chapel.
