Posted

The Lincolnville Jazz at the Excelsior series brings local and national jazz musicians to the historic Lincolnville neighborhood in St. Augustine. The series kicked off Jan. 10 and will run through May 15. A riveting series of eight performances will showcase the soul of the African American experience through jazz music.

For the past four years the museum has offered after-hours jazz performances as a part of its cultural offerings.

The 2020 lineup includes many returning favorites, including Mama Blue, Akia Uwanda and Eric Carter and Company, in addition to the Lincolnville debuts of Laiken Williams & Fellowship of Love, Linda Cole and more. Another new offering this year is a pre-show cocktail lounge, which opens at 6 p.m. The full list of performance dates is available at http://www.lincolnvillemuseum.org/jazz/.
