The Ponte Vedra Lacrosse 8U Jaws Black Tip team emerged victorious in the 8U division at the Sunshine State Summer Kick-Off Lacrosse Tournament held on May 18-19 in Wellington, Florida. Competing against teams from across the state, the Jaws Black Tip secured their championship title by winning all five of their games.
In a thrilling championship match, the team clinched a 4-2 victory against the Manatee Wildcats. The championship roster includes No. 2 Ted Beagin, No. 6 AJ Marrapese, No. 12 Joey Fugger, No. 14 Ashton Rose, No. 17 Hudson Carlson, No. 18 Akamu Laughlin, No. 21 Leo Dellavecchia, No. 22 Gray Roberts, No. 27 Bradley Johnson, No. 31 Colin Dunn, No. 33 Harris Hensley, No. 45 Jake Werba, No. 51 Cam "Bones" Eidson and No. 55 Pat McKenney.
