Ponte Vedra resident Hanna Berman will tee off at 8:30 a.m. (CDT) Monday, July 29 in the 89th Ladies National Golf Association Amateur Championship at the Golf Club of Tennessee. The tournament is 72-hole stroke play with a 36-hole cut to the lowest 60 scores and ties.
Berman is a senior at Jacksonville University where she is on the 2019-20 ladies golf roster.
In January, Berman tied for fifth place at the Women's Orlando International Amateur Championship in Winter Garden, Florida. In June, Berman was runner-up in the Women's Southern Amateur Championship at Supply, North Carolina where she shot a 2-over 74 during the 18-hole stroke play portion of the event. She was seeded seventh for the Southern Amateur match play competition.
