The PARC Group, Nocatee’s master developer, announced this morning that the St. Johns County School District’s newest K-8 school will be located adjacent to Nocatee’s Twenty Mile neighborhoods. Construction of the school, built on land donated by Nocatee, is slated to begin this spring. The School District will determine zoning of students to attend the new school in the fall of 2016.

This new school is the third school site donated by The PARC Group to the school district. The second, Valley Ridge Academy, opened its doors for the 2014-15 school year, and Ponte Vedra High School, the first, opened in 2009.

“Education is an important cornerstone of the Nocatee lifestyle,” said Greg Barbour, Chief Operating Officer of The PARC Group, Nocatee’s master developer, in a news release. “This new school reinforces that the Nocatee lifestyle incorporates all of its residents’ needs, from education to health, wellness, recreation, worship, employment and more.”
