The Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa may just be the perfect place to celebrate the long weekend and take a much needed staycation.

 

In addition to unplugging by taking advantage of the resort’s four pools, and the private Cabana Beach Club, the Sawgrass Spa is offering a variety of special treatments for the month of February.

 

And the culinary team at Vernon’s First Coast Kitchen will be offering an indulgent prix-fixe menu for Valentine’s Day dinner.  

 

The Sawgrass Spa special treatments include:

-       Love is in the Air: a complimentary aromatherapy upgrade to any massage (choose from CBD—the ultimate in relaxation, or rose blend)

-       Couple’s Massage: couples will receive a complimentary glass of bubbles and chocolate-covered strawberries to enjoy poolside after their service.

-       Wine Down Facial: the ideal antidote to tired and dehydrated skin, this facial includes a rinse with a green tea and coconut milk wash followed by a soft vitamin berry tonic; a raw honey, yogurt, and oat face mask designed to soothe and clarify; a wine-infused serum proven to reduce pores and fine lines; a three-milk ageless moisturizer hydrates while wrinkle-performance peptides work to firm the skin; and an advanced peptide crow catcher eye serum finishes by smoothing fine lines around the eyes. The facial is finished with a post-facial glass of wine poolside.

 

A special prix-fixe evening Valentine’s Day menu is available Friday, Feb. 14:

-       First Course: Lobster & Mascarpone Arancini with herb aioli or Broken Burrata with Parma ham, charred sourdough snd Bee Hill honey, made on-property

-       Second Course: Charred Romaine with crisp prosciutto, blistered tomatoes, torn croutons and parmesan vinaigrette or Fisherman’s Cioppino Stew with lobster, shrimp, tomatoes and fennel

-       Third Course: House Aged New York Strip with Pee-Wee potatoes, mushroom ragu, and black garlic butter or Diver Sea Scallops with sweet potato hash, bacon lardons, sautéed greens, and pomegranate glaze or Double-Bone Pork Chop with nduja gnocchi, whipped goat cheese, and pork fast breadcrumbs or Black Grouper with seafood rice, fennel, and a tomato, olive and caper relish

-       Fourth Course: Black Forest Gateau with chocolate cake, cherry gelee, vanilla and cherry mousse, red velvet truffle and a salted cheese foam
