The following programs will be held at COA’s THE PLAYERS Community Senior Center, 175 Landrum Lane, Ponte Vedra Beach. The center will be closed for Christmas on Friday, Dec. 22. If you have any questions or wish to register, call Suzanne Duvall at 904-209-3659.
Lunch — Tuesdays: 3 weeks starting Tuesday, Dec. 12, from noon to 1 p.m. Registration required a week in advance and fee required, $5 per meal.
Lunch — Thursdays: 4 weeks starting Thursday, Dec. 7, from noon to 1 p.m. Registration required a week in advance and fee required, $5 per meal.
Duplicate Bridge: 3 weeks starting Friday, Dec. 8, from noon to 3 p.m. Fee required: $2 per person, per Friday. You must have a partner.
Line Dancing Class: Instructor Will Oglesby teaches many different line dances with a good selection of music. Open to all adults and experience levels. Weekly, starting Wednesday, Dec. 6, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Registration and fee required, $9 per class.
Acrylic Painting: Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to noon. No fee required. Instructor on site Wednesday, Dec. 13.
Bus Trip to COA’s Riverhouse: A visit to COA’s Riverhouse in St. Augustine for the “Winter Art & Dance Show” at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20. This is a round trip from THE PLAYERS Community Center; the COA bus will leave The Players Community Center at 9 a.m. sharp and return by 3 p.m. Lunch provided.
Holiday Market: Saturday, Dec. 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Browse crafts, jewelry, quilts, art and more. All proceeds benefit THE PLAYERS Community Senior Center. Rain or shine.

Care Connection: Do you need help? Do you find it difficult to make ends meet? Are you in need of some help with the cost of groceries or health care? You are not alone. Did you know there may be help available for you? Many seniors qualify for — but are not yet enrolled in — benefit programs that could help them pay for prescriptions, medical care and food. A Care Connection representative will be on site to meet with you on Thursday, Dec. 21, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
