In effort to help those struggling with homelessness at the Beaches, Mission House is continuing its initiative, “Pave the Path to Hope” fundraising campaign. The funds will go to assist those without homes gain housing and life necessities for survival.

“For a minimum of a $250 donation, people can purchase an engraved brick in honor or memory of a loved one. The pathway is laid on the way to our client entrance,” said Mission House Executive Director Lori Anderson.

“The money goes toward our Mission House Endowment, which will ensure our clients’ lifesaving, basic services will be available well into the future."

Services include hot meals, clothes, shelter and showers, according to Anderson, who also stated that the endowment also ensures that utilities, including electricity and hot water, will be paid for even in another economic downturn.

“Mission House is proudly supported by our community,” Anderson said.
