Members of the USS Farragut, a Mayport-based Navy destroyer currently deployed overseas, received thank you cards and New Year’s greetings from Beaches Episcopal School students in January. In response, the military members sent the students a picture expressing their gratitude for the thoughtful messages from the home front.
