In order to minimize exposure to COVID-19, and to accommodate children who sustain orthopedic injuries and need urgent care, Nemours Children’s Specialty Care, Jacksonville South has opened the Walk-in Injury Clinic, a specialty clinic for walk-in orthopedic injury appointments only.
The Walk-in Injury Clinic is for families that do not need to go to a hospital or emergency room setting, avoiding potential exposure to COVID-19. This specialty clinic will specifically offer care for durable medical equipment and casting, bone and joint injuries, dislocations, fractures, sprains and strains, sports injuries and injury-related imaging.
In order to limit the spread of COVID-19, Nemours asks that only one healthy parent or caregiver accompany a child. Siblings and other family or friends may not attend these visits. Individuals who feel ill should find a healthy caregiver to bring your child to the clinic.
The Walk-in Injury Clinic is located at 14785 Old St. Augustine Road, Suite 200, in Jacksonville, and is open from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, call (904) 697-3600.
