SJC, Flagler Health+ COVID-19 partnership transitioning to vaccine distribution planning

In preparation for COVID-19 vaccine distribution, St. Johns County and Flagler Health+ are transitioning the COVID-19 response operations from testing to planning and vaccine delivery. As a result, the COVID-19 testing site at Flagler Health+ will conclude all COVID-19 tests at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30. COVID-19 testing remains available at Flagler Health+ outpatient laboratories with a physician order, CareFast+ locations, and a variety of other private locations throughout St. Johns County. In addition, a State of Florida COVID-19 testing site remains operational and free to the public at the Regency Square Mall, 9501 Arlington Expressway, Jacksonville.

Per the State of Florida, the initial phase of vaccine availability is allocated to healthcare workers and long-term care facility residents. As additional vaccines become available, St. Johns County Emergency Management and Flagler Health+ will work closely with the Florida Department of Health, the Florida Department of Emergency Management and local healthcare providers to expedite distribution to additional populations in accordance with CDC, federal and state guidelines. Go to www.sjcfl.us to view a list of available COVID-19 testing locations in St. Johns County. As testing sites are continually evolving, St. Johns County cannot guarantee the list is comprehensive.
