Wounded Warrior Projects delivers holiday joy

A recent event in Jacksonville helped bring the Christmas spirit to more than a dozen local families. Wounded Warrior Project hosted the families at its headquarters on Belfort Road. The evening started with a family feast and then Wounded Warrior Project provided each family with all the makings for a Christmas dinner to take home (including a gift card to purchase a turkey). Each child also received a wrapped present right from their individual Christmas lists and a stocking filled with goodies. Wounded Warrior Project started this annual tradition a few years ago to help families deal with rising prices and a tight economy.
