Next Generation applications open for emerging leaders

Applications for Leadership Jacksonville’s Next Generation 2023 annual summer program are open. “NextGen” is for young professionals, interns, undergraduate and graduate students in Northeast Florida who are 21-30 years old. More than 575 young professionals have participated in Next Generation since it began in 2005.

Program Details:

  • NextGen 2023 will begin on May 25 with an opening reception. During the summer, the class will attend an opening retreat, four program days and a closing retreat. Program days will address various aspects of the community.
  • The NextGen program fee is $500. Need-based assistance may be available to those accepted into the program.
  • Leadership Jacksonville NextGen 2023 applications will be accepted online through Monday, April 3, at leadershipjax.org. Specific program dates are listed on the Leadership Jacksonville website.
  • All applicants will be scheduled for a Zoom interview.

“Leadership Jacksonville created the Next Generation program to retain young talent and inspire emerging leaders to get involved,” said CEO Gracie Simendinger. “We encourage all young professionals who are interested in learning more about the Jacksonville area and connecting with like-minded individuals to apply for this fun and informative summer program.”
