Ponte Vedra High School’s Beaches Go Green members visited Ocean Palms Elementary and presented to all of the fifth graders and staff and the 4R’s (refuse, reduce, reuse and recycle).
With a focus on refusing and reducing, the teens explained why recycling is not the answer and why people must create less waste overall to help the planet.
Ocean Palms’ fifth graders also got a visit from Bruce, the Ponte Vedra High School shark, and Beaches Go Green’s Plastic Monster.
