Ocean Palms Elementary School (OPES) kicked off Teacher Appreciation week with lights, cameras and action.
This Hollywood-themed event was the talk of the town as paparazzi followed teachers on the red carpet going into school on Monday. Students held posters, microphones and cardboard cameras to get into character.
The week is filled with fun as teachers discover who wins all kinds of gift baskets, including facials, movie tickets and even car detailing (right in the school parking lot). There will also be catered VIP events throughout the week.
