On June 28, Pace Center for Girls Jacksonville recognized Sen. Aaron Bean for his support of Pace’s mission to provide girls and young women an opportunity to thrive.

“Sen. Bean has made a tremendous impact at Pace, supporting and advocating for thousands of girls and young women throughout North Florida and across the state,” said Mary Marx, president and CEO of Pace Center for Girls. “We are grateful for his shared commitment to empower our next generation of young women.”

Bean has a longstanding history of providing direct support to Pace girls. Through initiatives like Pace Day at the Capitol, he connects girls directly to policymakers, giving them an opportunity to use their voices to make a difference.

“For so many girls in North Florida, Pace has been a driving force behind helping change the trajectory of girls’ lives,” said Bean. “Throughout my 18 years in the Florida legislature, it’s been a privilege hearing Pace girls’ stories and helping elevate their voices.”

Pace’s nationally recognized model is designed specifically for girls to include academics, strength-based counseling, case management and therapy services that yield successful results.
