Stephanie Kinsey, DDS, and owner and founder of Palencia Dental has been named as the dental director on the board of directors for Wildflower Healthcare, a nonprofit in St. Augustine established in 1995.

Good Samaritan Health Centers Inc., the 501(c)3 parent organization of Wildflower Healthcare, has continuously responded to the changing health care needs of St. Johns County adults and children with no-cost medical and dental services for low-income community members.

According to Kinsey, she and fellow board members help to ensure the organization’s mission is met and are active participants who guide the nonprofit in sustainable programs and services through health care governance, fundraising and financial management.

As dental director for the board, Kinsey is responsible for overseeing the organization’s planning and direction in all facets of clinical dentistry, staff training and the practice and patient care.

To further serve the community and dental patients, Kinsey recent completed training, continuing education credits and advanced certification with Dr. Ara Nazarian in Roseville, Michigan in guided full-arch dental implant reconstruction.

Nazarian is renowned for providing a proven step-by-step approach on life-altering treatment options for dental patients using full-arch guided surgery.

The new technology and procedure is available at the local practice with digital diagnostics, onsite surgical and laboratory procedures for professionally engineered full-mouth dental implants.

According to a press release, the latest dental implants include artificial tooth roots shaped like screws implanted in healthy bone.

Kinsey ensures the health and safety of her patients and staff with a medical team that cleans and disinfects the dental operatories between interactions with patients, and Palencia Dental maintains the highest level of sanitation practices for employees and patients.

Kinsey is an American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine qualified dentist and has been practicing dentistry for more than 20 years.

Her St. Augustine and Northwest St. Johns County dentistry practices are dedicated to restoring and enhancing the natural beauty of one’s smile combining conservative and state-of-the-art procedures along with advanced dental medicine and aesthetics.
