The Palmer Catholic Academy varsity girls basketball team celebrates after winning the championship against Assumption Catholic School at Bishop Snyder High School Oct. 30. Led by coach William Mayer, Palmer ultimately won the game 18-16 and finished the season with a 14-1 record. Laine Gray was named the championship’s MVP.
