Pirate Invasion

Posted

The Fernandina Pirates Club invaded the Nocatee Farmers Market on Saturday, Sept. 18, but no one was intimidated. Instead, the kids in attendance had a great time. In fact, the pirates taught three special, interactive “pirate schools” for the children. The club brought along its “pirate ship,” the Miss Amelia’s Pearl II. In addition to the pirate invasion, the Farmers Market at Nocatee Station Field offered shopping from more than 60 local vendors. Herbs, spices, foods, crafts and more were on sale. Also, Blue Water Bar was open for beer and wine purchases. The event sponsor was Barnhorst Eye & Laser Center.
