A luxury vacation stay in Hawaii, Italy, Ireland, Las Vegas or Belize will go to the winner of the Rotary Club of Ponte Vedra Beach’s luxury trip raffle, tickets for which are now on sale.
Tickets for the trip raffle are $100 each or five for $400 and may be purchased online at mineralcitycelebration.com/raffle-trips. The winner will be able to choose from five exotic destinations: Hawaii, Ireland, Rome/Tuscany, Las Vegas or Belize. The winner of the raffle will be announced live at the Rotary Club's annual Mineral City Celebration gala; the winner does not need to be present to win.
This year’s gala will be held May 13 at the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa. The theme is “The Rat Pack.” Guests will be transported back to 1960s Las Vegas when Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and their cohorts ruled the Vegas Strip. In addition to the luxury trip raffle, the gala will feature a cocktail reception, dinner, a silent auction and entertainment by nationally acclaimed Frank Sinatra tribute artist Michael Dutra.
A special highlight of the gala will be the presentation of the “Rock of the Community Award” to Jacksonville Jaguars legend and Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Tony Boselli in recognition of his philanthropic contributions to the local community through The Boselli Foundation.
The Mineral City Celebration is the signature annual fundraising event for the Rotary Club of Ponte Vedra Beach. Proceeds from the event have benefited more than two dozen local nonprofit organizations and charities.
