Ponte Vedra bounces back with shutout of Episcopal

Ponte Vedra was hitting on all strides and bounced back nicely from the emotional loss to Nease a week ago with a 34-0 victory on the road against Episcopal on Friday, Sept. 3.

The Sharks (1-1) defense pitched a shutout and the offense finished with a well-balanced attack that included 327 total yards of offense, 172 rushing and 155 passing.

Mickey Stephens gained 81 yards on the ground on 23 carries, while Bobby Kegley ran for 61 yards on 15 carries.

The Sharks will look to make it two in a row when they welcome in Baker County on Friday, Sept. 10.
