“The Music of Cream” will be presented live April 9 at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. The show will celebrate the legendary group with musical tributes and never-before-seen footage and photographs.
“The Music of Cream,” featuring family members Kofi Baker (Ginger Baker’s son) and Will Johns (Eric Clapton’s nephew and son of Zeppelin/Stones engineer Andy Johns) announced the new show, honoring the original band’s landmark album “Disraeli Gears.”
This unique project began in 2017 with a handful of concerts celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Cream in Australia and New Zealand. Such was the response, the show was thereafter seen hundreds of times by tens of thousands of fans across North America and the U.K, many shows selling out.
For 2022 and beyond, “The Music of Cream” hit the road with its new show. Concerts will feature the album performed in its entirety during the first set, followed by a second with hits and rarities from Eric Clapton, Blind Faith and Cream.
“The Music of Cream” continues to feature family members Kofi Baker on drums and Will Johns on guitar and vocals. Along with the legendary music, the show features storytelling, photographs and integrated videos, many of which have not been seen before, so that even the most die-hard fans are guaranteed a night to remember.
Tickets for “The Music of Cream” are available at Ticketmaster.com and in person at The St. Augustine Amphitheatre box office. The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall box office remains closed at this time.
Ticket prices range from $34.50 to $54.50.
Attendees can avoid ticket fees by purchasing tickets in person. Box office hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays. The box office accepts only credit and debit cards for payment.
