Ponte Vedra High School students recently won accolades at March competitions in Daytona Beach.

In an exciting conclusion to their 2023 season, Ponte Vedra High School Percussion gave a well-received performance at the Daytona Beach Ocean Center on March 25. Despite facing stiff competition, the dedicated team emerged victorious, securing an impressive second place in A class.

This achievement has firmly established Ponte Vedra High School Percussion as one of the leading high school ensembles in Florida.

Eager to take on new challenges, the team is gearing up for next year's competitions, striving to surpass their own achievements in 2024.

The Ponte Vedra High School Winter Guard recently completed their 2023 season at the Daytona Beach Ocean Center on March 24.

After coming off a tumultuous season in 2022 placing second overall in the AAA class at the Florida Federation Color Guard Circuit Championships, the team continued their momentum in 2023 by getting promoted to the AA class midway through their season.

This promotion meant that the team exceeded the expectations of the previous classification and were ready to be promoted to the next highest classification. While this was unprecedented territory for many of the students on the team, they stepped up to the challenge of a new class and had a successful championship run.

The team finished fourth overall in the AA class and has put the winter guard program on the map in the state of Florida.

The team is looking to compete on an international level next season by going to their first Winter Guard International regional and are eager to perform once again.
