ProWatercross, the premiere national jet ski racing tour, will have two events during the 2021 season features destinations in Florida.

The tour will open its 2021 season at the home to one of the world’s most iconic races with its debut race in Sebring on Lake Jackson on April 10-11. The second race will be a return visit to Vilano Beach in St. Augustine on May 1-2.

Entering its 26th year, ProWatercross has grown from being a startup to the national governing body on jet ski racing. The two-day event features multiple divisions and categories based on the make, model and engine size of the skis as well as the age and skill level of the competitors.

After COVID paused the season, ProWatercross was able to end its 2020 season in style with its first trip to St. Augustine with two days of competition for the national championship at Vilano Beach.

“We are proud to welcome our friends with ProWatercross back for two days of exciting races this year,” said Richard Goldman, president and CEO of Florida’s Historic Coast. “A special thanks to our partners at Airstream Ventures for bringing this tremendous event to our area and the ability to market Florida’s Historic Coast to the world.”

The races are expected to draw 250 racers from around the country for the three days, with an expected economic impact of more than $500,000. The races will also be broadcast live through Facebook and YouTube, with a 30-minute recap show airing on CBS Sports Network.
