Realtors and associates of Coldwell Banker Vanguard Realty give back

Posted

Two “Thanks-In-Giving” projects, held in conjunction with Coldwell Banker Vanguard Realty’s  Thanksgiving celebration held Nov. 12 at their Ponte Vedra Beach office, proved successful.

Realtors and associates donated an abundance of warm clothing for the area’s homeless and also purchased locally made items to benefit survivors of human trafficking.  The gently used clothing drive included coats, jackets and toiletries for Mission House in Jacksonville Beach just in time for colder temperatures. A combined donation of $250 from this event fundraiser will also be given to Mission House to assist in their on-going efforts to care for the area’s homeless by providing shower facilities, clothing, medical attention, meals and counseling.

More than $600 in sales of Rethreaded repurposed materials, including scarfs made from t-shirts and leather purses made from airline seating, was also raised at the Thanks-In-Giving celebration.
