The Ponte Vedra Recorder was recognized with 11 awards for excellence in September by Community Papers of Florida for publications including The Recorder weekly newspaper and Living Here annual newcomers’ guide. The awards were presented last month as part of CPF’s annual conference.

The Recorder staff received recognition in the following categories: retail advertising, automotive advertising, real estate advertising, professional services advertising and agency-produced advertising. Staff were also awarded second place best newsprint cover design for a special section, second place best creative content and second place best overall special publication for Living Here.

“We are honored to be recognized among the industry’s leaders by CPF,” said Recorder Publisher Susan Griffin. Griffin attended the award ceremony on behalf of her staff. “We always look forward to the annual Awards for Excellence presentation. It’s a great opportunity to learn from other community publications in the state, and to show the quality of the product we offer at The Ponte Vedra Recorder.”

Griffin sits on the CPF board. Community Papers of Florida’s membership is comprised of owners, publishers, general managers and sales managers of community newspapers throughout the state of Florida.
