Rogers Towers expands labor and employment department, welcomes 4 attorneys

The law firm of Rogers Towers, P.A. has added Robert G. Riegel Jr., Eric J. Holshouser, Michael J. Lufkin and Kathryn K. Rudderman to the firm’s labor and employment department.

“The addition of four such talented and respected attorneys, integrated with the work of our present team, will solidify a leading practice group extending well-beyond Northeast Florida,” said Fred D. Franklin Jr., chairman and managing director of Rogers Towers. 

A Ponte Vedra resident, Riegel has more than 35 years of experience representing management clients across the full spectrum of employment law. He handles all aspects of employment litigation, including jury trials, administrative trials and hearings, and arbitrations. According to Rogers Towers, Riegel has successfully litigated employment discrimination, retaliation, sexual and racial harassment cases, wrongful discharge claims, Fair Labor Standards Act actions and breach of contract claims. He also handles non-compete and trade secrets litigation.

Holshouser practices all aspects of labor and employment law, including equal employment opportunity, wage and hour, health and safety, employee benefits, non-compete, trade secret and wrongful discharge law, as well as legal matters involving union-company relations. He also represents employers in both state and federal court in the areas of labor relations, discrimination, non-compete enforcement, sexual harassment, breach of contract and fraud. Holshouser is currently serving as president of the Academy of Florida Management Attorneys.

Riegel and Holshouser both hold an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell and have been listed to The Best Lawyers in America®, Super Lawyers® and Florida Trend Magazine’s “Legal Elite” for many years. Lufkin also practices all aspects of labor and employment law and represents employers in agency investigations, state and federal single-plaintiff cases, class and collective actions and arbitration involving issues such as harassment, discrimination, retaliation, constructive discharge, restrictive covenants, wage claims and breach of contract actions.

Rudderman counsels employers on best practices to achieve employment law compliance; assists employers in developing policies and procedures; and advises employers on decisions involving all aspects of employment law. She also works with employers to defend against charges of discrimination and lawsuits when filed by current and former employees.
