SenioRITAs events to benefit breast cancer research

SenioRITAs at Sawgrass Country Club, Jacksonville’s largest charity tennis event, is celebrating its 20^th anniversary. The annual women’s doubles tennis tournament benefits breast cancer research at Mayo Clinic and patient services at Baptist Medical Center Beaches.

The live and silent auction dinner party is set for Oct. 14 at Sawgrass Beach Club, and the tennis tournament will be held Oct. 18 to 20 at the Sawgrass Tennis Center. The three-day tennis tournament features nearly 300 women from throughout the southeast.

Because the group is an all-volunteer organization, 100% of the proceeds go to Mayo Clinic and Baptist Medical Center Beaches. All events are open to the public, and community support is encouraged.
