More than 300 people attended a recent VIP grand opening celebration event at Seven Pines, a new master-planned community in Jacksonville. Guests enjoyed entertainment, food and the opportunity to be among the first to visit the community’s eight new furnished model homes crafted by ICI Homes and David Weekley Homes.

The name, Seven Pines, pays tribute to the seven Skinner brothers who have a long and rich family history with the property and the city of Jacksonville. The VIP celebration guests included 34 members of the Skinner family representing three generations, and 30 Seven Pines homebuyers who purchased homes in the community prior to the grand opening. ICI Homes and David Weekley Homes also hosted a public opening event which attracted nearly 700 people.

“We were thrilled to welcome a record number of guests to our VIP celebrations, and we are pleased by the enthusiastic response we received on our new model homes and our plans for Seven Pines,” said Tom McCall, chief operating officer, ICI Homes. “Seven Pines is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after communities in Northeast Florida, and we look forward to welcoming many of our guests back as residents in the future.”

“Seven Pines will be a community truly distinctive to Jacksonville — a place where people can live, work and enjoy life in a setting unlike any other in Northeast Florida,” said Steve Ebensberger, area president, David Weekley Homes. “Our residents will have a wonderful neighborhood environment with contemporary homes, unique outdoor amenities and an exceptional location that’s close to everything. Seven Pines is a place where everyone will want to be.”

The new contemporary homes of Seven Pines will offer a fresh take on Jacksonville style. The homes at Seven Pines will be nestled within walkable neighborhoods with lush green space, water and tree-lined streets.

In addition to the eight furnished model homes, ICI Homes and David Weekley Homes have several quick move-in homes under construction. The homes feature a variety of floor plans and a wide range of square footages and styles. Model homes are open daily. Home prices at Seven Pines start in the upper $600,000s.

With more than 1,000 acres of natural beauty, Seven Pines will offer a vibrant village center, parks, trails, lakes and family outposts that bring residents closer to nature — and each other. Plans for the community include a 34-acre Central Park and a 7,900-square-foot Residents Club located alongside a sparkling lake. The Residents Club will offer a resort-style pool, a lap-lane pool and children’s sprayground with interactive water features and slides. The clubhouse will provide nearly 3,000 square feet of fitness space that will include a group fitness area and a cardio workout area in addition to meeting/event space. Plans for the amenity area include an Outpost building by the lake for canoes and kayaks.

Seven Pines is located on Kernan Boulevard south of J. Turner Butler Boulevard. The community offers quick access to the beaches and downtown Jacksonville, and has a premier location near shopping, dining, schools, recreation, medical centers, business centers and more.
