Bold Bean Coffee Roasters and St. Johns Riverkeeper invite river and coffee lovers alike to enjoy their morning jolt with a side of charity in support of one of the region’s most important assets — the St. Johns River. Bold Bean has created a signature St. Johns Blend, available now for a limited period of time.
Bold Bean is donating 15% of the proceeds from the sale of St. Johns Blend coffee to St. Johns Riverkeeper to support the nonprofit organization’s advocacy and education programs for the river. The coffee will sell for $17 per bag and there are 500 bags available. The coffee is a blend from Central America and has flavor notes of chocolate, caramel and vanilla.
Patrons can also pick up a co-branded coffee mug, featuring a historic map of the St. Johns River and surrounding areas in Jacksonville. The mugs will sell for $15 with $5 from the sale of each mug going to support St. Johns Riverkeeper. Both the coffee and the mugs can be purchased at any Bold Bean location or online at boldbeancoffee.com.
