The Sing Out Loud Festival that began Sept. 10 concludes this week.
Every year, St. Johns County hosts several days of music and more at a variety of venues. The festival is a major attraction that draws attendees from around Florida and nearby states. Since 2016, it has brought hundreds of local, regional and nationally recognized musicians to local stages and parks.
Some of the concerts require tickets, but admission to most events is free.
For its fifth year, the festival lineup includes heavy hitters like TLC & Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
Also, this Thursday, Sept. 23, the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall will host music business and singer songwriter panels. This is a must-see for anyone with an interest in the music business.
Musicians, industry professionals and members of the public will have an opportunity to engage in these talks focused on the music industry. The idea is to bring together local music stakeholders with national music industry professionals for an exchange in knowledge and networking. The event is curated and presented by the St. Augustine Songwriters Festival.
The business panel will be held 5-6:30 p.m., and the singer/songwriter panel will be held 7-8:30 p.m. Songwriters will perform beginning at 8:30 p.m.
